You can restore a default or saved configuration in full, or you can modify key fields in the saved configuration before you restore the configuration to your management module.
Modifying the configuration file before you restore it helps you set up multiple management modules with similar configurations. You can quickly specify parameters that require unique values, such as names and IP addresses, without having to enter common, shared information. The advanced management module also enables you to restore a configuration that was previously saved to the backplane of the BladeCenter unit. Restoring the management module configuration requires special user permissions (see Web interface pages and user roles for information).
