IBM ServerGuide is provided on CD-ROM with most blade servers.
It simplifies the process of installing and configuring blade servers.
ServerGuide assists with the installation of the operating system,
system device drivers, and other system components. It performs the
following functions:
- Sets system date and time
- Detects installed optional hardware devices and provides updated
device drivers for most adapters and devices
- Provides diskette-free installation for supported Windows operating
systems
In addition, a system that has been installed using ServerGuide
can then be cloned using Remote Deployment Manager.
