If a blade server cannot communicate with the external network,
there may be an I/O connectivity problem.
Problem
A blade server starts but cannot communicate
with the external network.
Investigation
Perform these steps to
resolve the problem.
- Log in to the advanced management module and
verify that external ports are enabled for the I/O module. From I/O Module
tasks, click Configuration, choose the I/O module and
click Admin/Power/Restart.
