         User response
         Perform these steps:

               Make sure that the external Ethernet cable is
connected on both ends.
               Verify that the cable is working:

                     Swap both ends of the cable.
                     Verify that there is a link LED lit on the RJ-45 connector on the advanced management module and the network device to which the
advanced management module is attached.
                  

               
               Verify that the network switch has power.
