Perform these steps:
- Make sure that the user has sufficient authority to activate the firmware image. See the Advanced Management Module User's Guide for more information about user
roles.
- Attempt to reload the firmware image.
- Check the event log for other errors related to the I/O module (such as communication errors between the advanced management module and the I/O module).
- Check advanced management module system status panel to ensure the switch is functioning.
