Setting up the initial firmware configuration

Use the procedures in this section to perform the initial, base firmware configuration. This configuration is the minimal configuration to add a DataPower appliance to your environment.

Defining the base configuration manually
The base configuration for the blade appliance can be defined only from the command line. Use the installation wizard provided during the initial boot sequence, or use the startup command to invoke the installation wizard.
