Use any of the following actions to resolve LAN over USB
conflicts with network configurations and applications.
- For conflicts with Open MPI, configure the application so that
it does not attempt to use this interface.
- Take down the interface (run ifdown under Linux).
- Remove the device driver (run rmmod under Linux).
- Disable the LAN over USB interface from the advanced
management module web interface:
- Log in to the AMM web interface.
- In the navigation pane, click Blade Configuration under
the Blade Tasks heading.
- Scroll down to the Service Processor LAN over USB interface on
the Blade Configuration web page. The section lists all blades in
the chassis that can enable or disable the LAN over USB interface.
- Select the check boxes next to the blade servers that you want
to enable or disable.
- Click Disable to disable the LAN over USB interface on
the selected blade servers.
