The IBM 4X InfiniBand Pass-thru Module for IBM BladeCenter passes up to 14 external InfiniBand 4X copper connections to a maximum of 14 internally connected blade servers that can be installed in a BladeCenter H unit. Each blade server connection requires one of the separately available InfiniBand expansion adapter cards.
