IBM Intelligent Copper Pass-thru Module for IBM BladeCenter

Pass-thru modules are I/O options that can be used for direct connections of blades ports to the external infrastructure devices such as network switches. The Intelligent Copper Pass-thru Module for IBM BladeCenter (ICPM) is similar to a traditional network patch-panel. The Intelligent Copper Pass-thru Module connects the blade servers in the BladeCenter unit to an existing network infrastructure. No configuration of the copper pass-thru module is required. The Intelligent Copper Pass-thru Module provides a single connection from each blade to one RJ-45 connection that can go directly to an external switch or patch panel.

See the Installation Guide for the IBM Intelligent Copper Pass-thru module.
