SAS RAID Controller Module for BladeCenter S

The IBM BladeCenter S SAS RAID Controller Module provides fully-integrated RAID Storage Area Network (SAN) functionality, inside your IBM BladeCenter S chassis. A SAS Expansion Card must be installed in each blade server that will access the integrated shared storage in the BladeCenter S chassis.

Refer to the online Configuration and Options Guide for a list of which BladeCenter units support which parts. Select the BladeCenter chassis and click Options > I/O to see supported I/O switch modules for the chassis.
