This command restores the primary management module configuration or an I/O (switch) module configuration to the default settings.
The clear command must always include the -config option.

When you restore the management-module configuration, the Ethernet configuration method is set to a value of dthens. After the management module resets, this causes the management module to try dhcp configuration and then default to the static IP configuration, which might cause the management module to remain offline for longer than normal.
